Pritchatts Park Student Village

The Pritchatts Park redevelopment was a renovation of an existing student accommodation, providing 160 new beds, break out areas and social areas plus a new build of 11 blocks providing 496 beds and break out areas, each new bedroom having a pod bathroom.
 
The renovation block, Pritchatts House consisted of a roof top plant room of 6 No. air source heat pumps and integrated buffer vessels to feed a wet heating system throughout the building installed in traditional steel to radiators and door curtains.
 
The domestics were via a tank and booster set within the basement rising to each floor via a 108mm copper brazed main, splitting to each of the 5 floors in 54mm soldered copper, and separate stand alone water heaters to feed clusters of 6 pods each.
 
Above ground drainage on this was via Terrain solvent weld risers to each floor in separate risers of 2 pods per floor branching off on each floor to connect to the pod WC, shower and basin and run outs to kitchens.
 
The new build townhouses were each fed by a separate booster set outside of each block feeding a rising main which branched off to each floor feeding the pods and water heaters for those floors.
